5By Dr. DonkeyNot the most inventive of this series, but by far the deepest dive into multiple emotional dimensions. At times the narratives are as predictable as Cabrillo's crew. However, even a seasoned Oregon series or Cussler reader will find every reason to keep turning pages. And, once on the last page the spoils of victory are conceded to the author who dared to challenge his audience with the previously unimagined co-morbidities of avarice and accessibility, triumph and tragedy, and valor and vanity.Very well done.
