Description

The iPhone 6S and 6S Plus introduced the 3D Touch feature, and many other features that come with iOS 9. This guide will introduce you to these new features, as well as iOS 9. The Guide to the iPhone 6S gives task-based instructions without using any technical jargon.

Learning which buttons perform which functions is useless unless you know how it will help you in your everyday use of the iPhone. Therefore, this guide will teach you how to perform the most common tasks. Instead of presenting arbitrary instructions in lengthy paragraphs, this book gives unambiguous, simple step-by-step procedures.

Additionally, detailed screenshots help you to confirm that you are on the right track. This Survival Guide also goes above and beyond to explain Secret Tips and Tricks to help you accomplish your day-to-day tasks much faster. If you get stuck, just refer to the Troubleshooting section to figure out and solve the problem.

Essentially this guide is worthless. No moderately advanced information provided. My seven year old grandson is a vastly superior tutor. It’s 200 pages of instruction and 450 blank pages. Terrible!!!

Definitely save your money. Horribly written and organized. Absolute basic info too. Disappointed to say the least.

I was having trouble accessing one of my email accounts and purchased this volume to help. At least twice, the info in the book did not even match what was on my iPhone 6s screen! I decided to just try something, and followed book's instructions to archive some email I wanted to keep long term. Method one guided me to use an icon that did not appear any where. Method two sent my emails to "Trash"! There was no archived folder even on my phone. Guess I just wasted $ 2.99. There should be a "return policy" on some of these items

Before purchasing an iPhone 6S, I had an iPhone 4, running iOS 8. I thought that I knew everything about iPhones. It turns out that so many new features were introduced in iOS 9 that it made my head spin. Coupled with the new 3D Touch features, I was a bit overwhelmed with all that my new phone could do. I really liked the clean organization and the lack of useless fluff like the "History of the iPhone" that so many other books include. On top of that, the Troubleshooting chapter really helped me as well when I was in a pinch. This was not the first Survival guide that I purchased, and it won't be the last. Five stars!
