Enjoyed this cozy murder mystery. The protagonist and her relationships within a small New England community, puts me in mind of the Miss Marple mysteries by Agatha Christie. Looking forward to the next book, Death of a Liar.

Loved the twisting plot and the characters. However, Harriet's dialog was more aligned with a 50-year-old than a 20-something. I had to remind myself all though the book that she wasn't my age.

Great summer reading. I liked the 1st person narrative of a mystery writer solving a murder mystery. Good characters although I think the author was trying too hard with her 1st effort, maybe it was to introduce the town and its inhabitants to the reader.
