Description

There's a hot billionaire in the carpool line that has every mom putting on her lipstick before she drops her kid off to school.

Me included.

But I can't be tempted by a body hewn from granite or eyes that could melt the polar ice caps… because that hot billionaire is also my boss, Ryan Sheridan.

Single moms like me can't play with fire. Especially not when I've finally landed a job that pays a decent salary, and even managed to buy a townhouse where I can raise my son without my parents looking over my shoulder, shaking their heads.

So I'll keep reminding myself that, even as his sapphire eyes pry their way into my heart, threatening to unlock the secrets that I keep hidden in a dark corner of my soul.

My past could destroy the life I've built for my son and me.

I can't afford full disclosure.

* Full Disclosure is Book Two of the Homefront: The Sheridans series, but can be read and enjoyed as a stand-alone.

So glad there is a bit of crossover from book to book for those who may not read them consecutively. It was fun reading about the dating antics and trying to figure out how to be intimate while raising children; so real life! Great job Kate...

Trigger warning: Sexual assault Main character has experienced a sexual assault. Does not happen on page, but is a main driving factor in the book. FYI.
  • Excellent romantic book, not just “girl porn”

Great book with an actual storyline, some good steamy scenes, and characters you quickly fall in love with. Huge breath of fresh air after reading those unrealistic and cheesy erotic books that jump to the sex scenes in the first 12 pages. Great book, well worth the price.

Again Ms Astor had my full attention with her well-written story. The story line and characters moved seamlessly from Book 1. The dogs only add to this storyline. ❤️

Omg I loved this incredible story, even better than the first one. Ryan. What can I say? That man just makes me swoon. She hit him like a lightning bolt, we knew he was a goner when we read his thoughts when he met her in that carpool thing. It was love at first sight. The heart stopping heart pounding passionate love that only comes in a lifetime. Just like his parents. I loved his dad, and reading about his vascular dementia broke my heart as I watched my beloved dad suffer from Alzheimer's. My dad was a handsome man back in the day, nothing like Ryan's dad, but he was quite the ladies man in his day. Of all the ladies he could have had, only one stole his heart. My beloved mom. Both are gone now, but Ryan's parents made me think of them. I'm sobbing as I wrote this. Back to the story: Kim was a wonderful heroine. Of the three friends, Kim was the one I liked the best. I liked Allie too, but Kim's story was more intriguing. Cass I'm not sure about, although her story with Dylan sounds interesting. We really don't know much about Dylan. From what I have read, he doesn't really do much for me. The playboy love em and leave em cocky types do nothing for me. Logan appealed to me because he was in the Navy, serving our country. In these times our military deserves our support more than ever. His reliving of his PTSD made me so sad for him. I know military guys who are living with that even now. It's heartbreaking. Allie was the best thing to ever happen to him. Ryan and Hannah. What mother would just dump her child because she wasn't perfect, with her attention issues. In my mind that girl is going to be something special. I hated her selfish rotten mother for her rejection. Divorcing that witch was the best thing that happened to Ryan, because it led him to the greatest love of his life, Kim. He truly loved her more than life itself. It wasn't just the incredible sex they experienced, they were connected deeply because of their kids. He actually had more in common with her than with the trophies he was seen with or dated. She could see what was in his heart, and his soul. He could see the same with her. They were pure magic and pure joy to read about.
