4By BDH1954Ok, I have been hooked on a Patterson books for years, and love the fact that he has developed a number of different characters and locations. The ladies from the Murder Club have always been one of my favorites, I like thick books with good plots and lots of character development. So I approached this new short form story with a bit of concern. In the final analysis I think of this book as an appetizer or snack that gives the reader a quick, but satisfying story to munch on. The characters are all still there and true to form, but the read is just a couple of hours. I think I like this, but keep the long ones coming.2nd time not the charm

It started well but then the plot was too simple not the usual twists and turns that Patterson provides. I know it was a book shot, my second to try, it was a big disappointment.
