This is book #10 in the Black Knights Inc. series. This book can be read as a standalone novel. To really appreciate the goodness that is BKI, I think the reader should read this series in order. Dagan AKA "Z" is both a co-worker and frenemy with Chelsea. They have worked together in more than one company, and trust is important in their line of work. If only he can turn off the dreams he has about her. Chelsea has been in love with Z for years. He has never known the part she has played in his past, either. Keeping secrets has gotten her no where. Maybe it is time to tell? Under the BKI blanket, we always get a hot story, with a side of burnin' love. This one takes you over to the other side of the pond. With sexy accents, secrets, and a mystery to solve - this story unfolds quickly and satisfies with an HEA.

Reading this book was like rooting for the home team. It's about time Dagan and Chelsea made the move!!!! I started reading the BKI series when the first book was offered free through Bookbub. I was hooked! The guys are sexy. The women are strong. You can't help but root for them and impatient for the next installment. Thank you for such wonderful escapes.

I've bought 10 of her BKI books but this one was boring. It was short on "mission" action and even the mission was obvious regarding what was going to occur. The relationship between the characters was overdone and seemed more like the author was being paid for the number of words rather than the substance of the story. I won't be buying another of these books.

I loved this book. I have been waiting for Dagan Zoelner's story ever since the very first book (Hell on Wheels) and I was definitely not disappointed. I enjoyed getting to know Dagan and Chelsea better, as well as Christian, Ace, and Emily. I appreciated that the story stuck to the main scenario and didn't try to mix too many themes in all at once. Overall I would definitely recommend this book to friends!

Setting: UK and US When I need a Romantic Suspense fix, Julie Ann Walker is my drug of choice and her books are my crack. They are intense and insanely addictive and they're guaranteed to provide a wicked book hangover! Finally, the chemistry between Z and Duvall comes to fruition in yet another adrenaline-fueled, amazing thrill ride! It's funny, though, because I almost want to categorize this as a menage with the way "the Beard" was given its own entity! He's strong and a bit bull-headed. She's smart and a lot sassy. Together they are a ton of fun to read. Secondary characters mostly consist of Emily and Christian (I'm sure I'm not the only one dying in anticipation to see their story unfold) and newer member Ace. A few new faces in the mix of minor secondaries, too. The dialogue and interaction never disappoint. The plot was dynamic and exciting. The flow was fluid and perfectly paced. There were a few hurdles to overcome, which were met and resolved in mature and timely manners. The predictability was low. The conclusion provides an implied HEA, but nothing truly solid. The overall story line (Spider) appears as if it will continue in the next installment, which I eagerly shall await! Although each book features a new couple, the secondary characters are parts of a larger and longer plot that began in book one, therefore, for maximum enjoyment, I'd suggest reading this series from the beginning. You won't be disappointed. . As always Julie Ann Walker brings the heat. Lots of action, romance, hot sex, and a bit of mystery. I would have liked to Chelsea kick butt a little more. Dagan is mysterious, sexy, and maybe a little bit of a jerk. But all in all they are perfect for each other.

Fuel For Fire was a fantastic read. It was fast paced, funny and steamy all rolled into one. I have anxiously awaited Dagan’s story and it did not disappoint. I have followed this series so I enjoyed going back and seeing old friends as well as making a few new friends. Loved it and can’t wait for the next one!

Action! thrilling (on motorcycles, with the good guys)! romance! And a book you wont be able to put down. I love this series of books and Fuel for Fire delivers another exciting chapter in the BKI series. Bad guys, killings, romance - what else could you ask for. The perfect beach or vacation read.
