"Coraline discovered the door a little while after they moved into the house...."

When Coraline steps through a door to find another house strangely similar to her own (only better), things seem marvelous.

But there's another mother there, and another father, and they want her to stay and be their little girl. They want to change her and never let her go.

Coraline will have to fight with all her wit and courage if she is to save herself and return to her ordinary life.

Neil Gaiman's Coraline is a can't-miss classic that enthralls readers age 8 to 12 but also adults who enjoy a perfect smart spooky read.

I have been in love with the movie since it came out when I was in 8th grade. And as my daughter grew I shared the experience with her and she is just as obsessed as I am. I even have a doll replica. I finally got the chance to read it and it was even better then the movie. And when my daughter is old enough I plan to gift her a copy of the book as well.

Extremely cleverly written. That’s about it- every aspect of the book (such as imagery, character morals and values, and even things as small as the setup of the house setting itself) inspired me and attached me to the story. I would definitely read again and/or recommend!!!
