By far the best book in the series so far, Amy's growth and transition into the strong woman I expect she will morph into by the end of this series has been captivating. Lizzie and Frank have grown to be a great match and I have loved being given more of a birds eye into their family life. Each and every single one of the characters continue to blossom in wisdom and strength, expect for the always dislike Susannah.

Read book one and had to read book two. Can't wait to read book three. Book 2 more heart wrenching. Loved that Amy became a stronger woman. Really good story. Best books I've read in awhile.

I found the story fascinating, and I enveloped myself into the main character, thus feeling her emotions vividly as though they were my own. Shayne has depicted the setting so vividly it was possible to insert oneself there.

What a beautiful story about Amy, a beautiful, sad, strong, wonderful woman. I look forward to Book 3! Thank you!

Enjoyed the second installment of the Promises to Keep trilogy...a little long, enjoyed the first book more, but will purchase the third to see what becomes of Amy and her "clan". Would recommend this series and consider this series as an "light read". Happy reading to all!

Good but too long. I would've preferred that the author kept more to the main character, Amy, instead of giving too much attention to the other characters.
