Sudden Death
5By androscogginExcellent. Hard to put down. The author understands the mentality of the professional golfer and the game of golf. The characters are all believable including the security people. Heartily recommenced.Sudden Death
4By Papa to fourThere are some areas of slowness for the play to catch up but all in all was a good book. Might help if someone understands golf and what happens on the circuitSudden Death
4By Chief 88A very well written book. It kept my interest the whole way through. The author was very knowledgeable in his detail on the game of golf. I would recommend and will read his books. Robert L. Justus Author of Rare Blood Sect & Thought Control.Sudden Death
4By SocalgramMy Dad had a "hole in one" so I had to read this. I enjoyed the characters. It was well written. Kept me interested. I did get tired of all the details of each hole played and skipped some of it. I wondered if the golfers go thru all that preparation for a game. I won't read another sports story.Sudden Death
1By Diane SueAWFUL!! Poorly written, how was it ever published?Painful!!!!
1By AritterThis book was by far the hardest book I have ever read. So many unnecessary details. And in the end the climax was a complete let down. Unless you really love golf this is not one I recommend. Not a hole in one
2By OtitusFirst, I give kudos to anyone who writes a novel. But this one, Sudden Death, is dead on arrival. Trite characters, high-schoolish smarmy relationships. I was ready to toss in the towel after reading about 20%, but it was so awful I wanted to see how much slower and longer before the storyline got better. My expectation was that it wouldn't get better. By 50% it exceeded my expectations and I got a morbid fascination of how much worse it could get. Again, I wasn't disappointed. The entire story was a silly romance novel. If you're looking for a romance novel, this one is for you.Sudden Death
5By BkschuhFirst time reading this author. LOVED IT!! Don't get a lot of time to read but the next one will be the sequel to Sudden Death. Easy, smooth read. Thanks!Sudden Death
3By WabjabVerrrryyyyy in tense Could see every words that explained everything Verrrryyyyy enjoyableWell done Mr. Balkin
5By RunninlongExciting and fast moving just like life on the tour. Great story line with sub plots equally interesting. Great "Reid"Sudden Death not worth the time
1By CTDAGBoring. Too much focus on being just a golf story and not enough developing the mystery.Amazing!!!!
5By Mason BrannonI absolutely loved this book. It kept me guessing from the beginning. I highly recommend this book. And I will be reading the sequel as well.Disappointing, slow, anti-climactic
2By Yetinut100Great story line that never fulfilled. Lacked the building climax typical with any popular writer in the same genre. Meaning, you're given everyday activities with little to break the mundane. There is also no introduction to the adverse characters or possible suspects to peak interest. Lots of potential, but much room for growth.Duffer
4By JoepullpinWas a bit different than what I expected after the first few pages . Good guessing games for sure .Enjoyable.Horrible!
1By NC RogDon't waste your time with this one. I had to struggle to get through about 100 pages. Characters are flat and predictable. This story reads like it was written by a 13 year old with an over-active imagination.Sudden Death
4By USMCerI very much enjoyed this novel. I originally decided to read it because of the Patterson endorsement , one of my favorites. However, I was impressed. The basic story, the writing, the use of 'just enough' to keep my interest. Can't wait to read the follow up.Sudden Death
4By RickWeltExplosive mystery. Never read a golf fiction intertwined with a terrorist type plot. Will definitely read DEAD BALL. Being an Syracuse grad also , it had to be a winner!Sudden death
5By Saints Fan ForeverVery good book easy readSudden Death
3By TrainandtrustSuspense on the Tee box, fairways, and greens. Could not put it down until the last putt was hit
