Description
Welcome to Trenton, New Jersey, where bounty hunter Stephanie Plum's life is about to implode in Janet Evanovich's wildest, hottest novel yet!
FIRST A STRANGER APPEARS
While chasing down the usual cast of miscreants and weirdos Stephanie discovers that a crazed woman is stalking her.
THEN THE STRANGER REVEALS HER SECRETS
The woman dresses in black, carries a 9mm Glock, and has a bad attitude and a mysterious connection to dark and dangerous Carlos Manoso …street name, Ranger.
NEXT, SOMEBODY DIES
The action turns deadly serious, and Stephanie goes from hunting skips to hunting a murderer.
SOON, THE CHASE IS ON
Ranger needs Stephanie for more reasons than he can say. And now, the two are working together to find a killer, rescue a missing child, and stop a lunatic from raising the body count. When Stephanie Plum and Ranger get too close for comfort, vice cop Joe Morelli (her on-again, off-again boyfriend) steps in.
Will the ticking clock stop at the stroke of twelve, or will a stranger in the wind find a way to stop Stephanie Plum…forever? Filled with Janet Evanovich's trademark action, nonstop adventure, and sharp humor, Twelve Sharp shows why her novels have been called "hot stuff" (The New York Times), and Evanovich herself "the master" (San Francisco Examiner).

5By WandahammOh my goodness! The range of emotion throughout this book is crazy! I love that after all this she could finally tell Morrelli she loves him. I think they need to get grandma a job at the mortuary so she can see each body before the viewing, and think of the craziness she'd get into with a little job there.Twelve
5By Marymike1609They are all family! All the characters. (Not bad guys). Always anticipating how Stephanie will get out of the fix she is in. Thanks for every single book. Regards, stay healthy and keep writing. Best wishes. Mary pagliuca.Twelve Sharp
5By BeepbibbiIf I ever need a pick me up I will go back to read the description of Grandma, Lula and Sally at dress rehearsal for their next gig! My first read through I couldn't catch my breath I was laughing so hard. Loved the story but Evanoviches' descriptive writings put you right in the middle of her stories. I can't wait to read another!Easy read

5By Ix13This is by far my favorite plum. I love Rangers' background even if its just a bit, you get glimpses of his mysterious life. The ending is great, however i would have liked a follow up to the events of this particular novel instead of rushing to novel 9 as if nothing hadn't happened. I have that issue with some of the books of the series, some continuity would be nice. Sometimes we start a new novel and wonder if you skipped a book in the middle ( without the other plum holiday novels). Overall its a good series for kicking back and relaxing a bit.
