Fearless Fourteen
By Janet Evanovich
- Release Date: 2008-06-17
- Genre: Women Sleuths
Description
Personal vendettas, hidden treasure, and a monkey named Carl will send bounty hunter Stephanie Plum on her most explosive adventure yet.
The Crime: Armed robbery to the tune of nine million dollars
Dom Rizzi robbed a bank, stashed the money, and did the time. His family couldn't be more proud. He always was the smart one.
The Cousin: Joe Morelli
Joe Morelli, Dom Rizzi, and Dom's sister, Loretta, are cousins. Morelli is a cop, Rizzi robs banks, and Loretta is a single mother waiting tables at the firehouse. The all-American family.
The Complications: Murder, kidnapping, destruction of personal property, and acid reflux
Less than a week after Dom's release from prison, Joe Morelli has shadowy figures breaking into his house and dying in his basement. He's getting threatening messages, Loretta is kidnapped, and Dom is missing.
The Catastrophe: Moonman
Morelli hires Walter "Mooner" Dunphy, stoner and "inventor" turned crime fighter, to protect his house. Morelli can't afford a lot on a cop's salary, and Mooner will work for potatoes.
The Cupcake: Stephanie Plum
Stephanie and Morelli have a long-standing relationship that involves sex, affection, and driving each other nuts. She's a bond enforcement agent with more luck than talent, and she's involved in this bank-robbery-gone-bad disaster from day one.
The Crisis: A favor for Ranger
Security expert Carlos Manoso, street name Ranger, has a job for Stephanie that will involve night work. Morelli has his own ideas regarding Stephanie's evening activities.
The Conclusion: Only the fearless should listen to Fearless Fourteen by Janet Evanovich.
Thrills, chills, and incontinence may result.

2By NikiaReadsHave read all the books in this series. & this one was definitely the least of my favorites. Storyline was ridiculous & unrealistic... Still a fan of the series. & will definitely continue to read the rest of the books. Not my favorite Stephanie Plum so far.
3By jpiernSo far this was my least favorite of the 14 I've read so far. It seemed a little too scattered & even more ridiculous than usual. This time it was the other characters being too ridiculous. Still it was a fairly good read.Fearless fourteen
2By Joy SnodgrassChapters were missing in the middle and the whole end of the book wasn't there. I don't even know how the story ends!!!!Not my favorite
3By ctamomIt's okay.Fearless Fourteen
4By Frugal blondeI have enjoyed the Stephanie Plum bounty hunter series up to this point; the misadventures of a novice apprehension agent who survives on mostly junk food and luck. This particular story was a bit too over the top, a little too slapstick for me. I'll try #15 and hope that it is more like the earlier stories.Same ol thing..
3By Jej56These books are getting tiresome. I would like to see stephanies relationship develop with morelli or something to move the story further. I found myself skimming the book in some areas. Not much different than the previous books. Dont think i will read any more.Held my interest
