Reviews
Disappointed
3By ricgol55Not the usual Ken Follett book. To short a read, alsoPortions interesting but not up to his standards
3By WG MHThe author admits to this being an experiment... and it seems to have missed the mark. It starts out slowly requiring tenacity to hang in. The intricacies of everyone’s attempt to outwit each other later on hold your interest somewhat until the end. The art world sequences lacked credibility, and the motivations of multiple characters were either absent or hastily constructed. From the middle on it was readable but would not make most ‘recommended reads’ list.
