I thought it might come up as technical or something but it's good prose. Reads like a novel.

This book is written by the New York prosecutor familiar with the facts of the cases. The book is a collection of 11 cases of fraud and murder that went to court between 1905 and 1908. A very captivating and worthwhile read, showing how man's inclinations to take shortcuts to wealth are the same today as they were 100 years ago.
