Reviews
Keep in mind this was written in 1922
4By Ima muttI have, and read, his full 2 book set on History of the World. Actually 3 books, book the third was written by another author because Wells died. I love history, read a lot in my almost 7 decades on the planet. His is one of my favorites.Surprisingly lacks research
1By Author AppletonFor an author whose work I admire, this "history" opens with unfounded assumptions. Dismissing the universe's creation is a poor way to begin a history, and concluding that religious teachers no longer accepted the Genesis account is flagrantly opposed to the views of theologians of H.G.'s day. Unfortunately his desire for a humanistic understanding destroys his credibility in reference to history with regards to this work.Interesting
