- Release Date: 1903-01-01
- Genre: Historical Mysteries
Description
An Apple Books Classic edition.
Arthur Conan Doyle’s most famous Sherlock Holmes novel sends the detective into a gothic landscape where logic meets legend.
When Sir Charles Baskerville dies under mysterious circumstances on the fog-shrouded moors of Dartmoor, whispers of an ancient family curse begin to spread. His heir arrives in England knowing he may be next, and Holmes must determine whether a supernatural hound truly stalks the Baskerville line, or if something far more darkly human is at work.
Reason battles superstition as Holmes applies his unflinching intellect to a case that seems to defy it. The Hound of the Baskervilles is tense, eerie, and atmospheric, revealing how even the darkest legends can be dragged into the light.

4By Books&CatsThere were several mysteries where pictures were necessary to the understanding of the mystery (The Dancing Men and others) and all that was there was the word GRAPHIC where the picture should have been. I must say that this is disappointing and I will read a hard copy to fully understand the stories.Perfect short stories

5By Mele 113I enjoyed the trials and tribulations of Watsons descriptions of Holmes... over and over again. I think Watson was Doyles alter ego as was Holmes… The Return of S.H. did not let me down, very fulfilling and quite entertaing. I could not put it down once I began the journey. Classic indeedMissing graphics
