Description
She can read your thoughts and emotions—and you tell her, she’s in danger.
Clarity Parker is about to uncover the truth about her past, her powers, and the man who left her behind. Fans of Deborah Harkness and Nalini Singh, this one’s for you.
Clarity Parker has always been different. She can hear thoughts, feel emotions, and sense truths no one else can. It’s a secret she’s buried beneath designer clothes and a polished smile, using her abilities to dominate the high-stakes world of advertising. But her carefully constructed life begins to unravel when Baron Ford—the man who disappeared from her life five years ago—suddenly reappears.
This time, he’s brought trouble with him.
The fog that follows him is more than weather—it’s a warning. Baron knows things about Clarity’s past that she can’t explain, and his return plunges her into a hidden war where she’s the prize. Whispers about her blood and its power become impossible to ignore, and the abilities she’s always feared might be her only chance to survive.
As danger closes in, Clarity must decide if she can trust the man who broke her heart. Together, they’ll uncover buried secrets, face deadly enemies, and confront a destiny that could change everything. If Clarity doesn’t figure out who she really is soon, she might not live long enough to find out.

Parched
1By Cindy Wittmann JonesI didn’t like this book. It took forever to actually get to the story (more than 6 chapters in is too long) and it never really explains what’s going on or who the main character really is. I just felt confused and like I wasted my time reading this.Sucked.....not in a good way!
1By Jdsdas96Boring & I quit reading around 200 pages in, tried to skip ahead to see if it got better. I love vampire & Lycan stories but this one just didn't capture me like most do.
