A rare 5 star review from me. A good, solid story with each character having just the right amount of depth in accordance with their importance to the story. Great timing and cadence all around. I also applaud the undertones of a romantic/friendly relationship between the 2 main characters. It adds some romance to the story for those that appreciate that sort of thing. Their bond comes across as much more realistic and not as rushed as most authors, in fact, 1 of 4 authors that don’t shove romance down the audience’s throats like needy, forlorn, love sick losers. It totally disgusts me and completely turns me off the every book & author that make the romantic and/or sexual attraction the paramount goal of the book. Subtlety and reality are key and much more relatable. They often end it with their soulmate status or worse impending marriage, despite knowing each other mere days. The last one even had a religious epiphany, becoming a high ranking church member and thus a perfect candidate for her future husband, despite (obviously) being moderately antogonistic towards each other 65% of the book. Puke. This was a very tasteful, realistic story that struck a relatable chord with just the right amount of characters, character depth, believability and of course some of that mystery/thriller everyone that reads this style of writing is looking for. Overall, I am impressed and highly recommend. High praise for someone who has been reading 12-20 books a month )several audiobooks while driving, running errands and completing chores). 5 out of 5 stars. of 5 stars.

I haven't read a book this fast in years! Finished in two days because it was that enthralling. Looking forward to reading the next one in the Sasha series.

Might have tighten up her characters a little. I kept having to go back and forth to re-establish who was who. But maybe that was just me. Highly recommended. Walt, prof. editor.

I couldn’t put the book down! I love the characters and that they acted pretty normal. Even their relationship, Sasha and Leo, grew as it should. (Without all the lust from first glimpse and believing it’s love . . . ) And I homeschooled my four kids, too, so I like you even more!

When I started the book and realized is a legal thriller, I almost put it down. Fortunately, I had nothing very interesting to read. Within half an hour, I was hooked. A truly excellent book.

Away from mystery "serial killer" books and finally a very well written mystery thriller of another nature. iBooks not so great at distinguishing. I had taken a break for about 10 months from reading, because I couldn't find anything different enough to get past page 20... Until now. Just finished reading and have downloaded book 2.
  • Bit of a stretch

Interesting trivia about Pittsburgh area but a plot about bringing down an airplane and then not alerting FAA and others just not plausible.

Not my usual type of novel, I usually read mysteries but am usually bored with lawyers and court. However, I am hooked on the authors writing style and characters. Will definitely purchase more by this author.

I really enjoyed this trilogy. Sasha is smart, fights hard, and works even harder. I really appreciated how Leo didn’t step in and protect her physically when he saw she could handle herself. He stepped in and cared for her in ways that filled the gaps in her life both personally and in their work together to solve the mystery. They each appreciate the others strengths and complement them. And it’s really not even a romance it’s a solid mystery to solve and work to be done in and out of the courts and offices. While I’m not sure the source of risk is plausible everything else that dovetails in works brilliantly. I want to buy these in print and read them again!

Didn’t need foul language and torrid sex scenes because the story was just plain good. I was a little confused at times with all the legal language, but also found myself contorting to the description of the martial arts to see how it was done. LOL. Great editing as well.

  • A Mind Adventure:

This book was most enjoyable because it was logical and reasonable. It was also eerie as two recent Boeing planes crashed due to some mechanical override that had taken over the planes control with the planes speeding up at the very end similar to the information on the downed jet in this adventure. It was a logical, warm book, and hard to put down plus the main characters were very likable.
