Sadly I have recently discovered to my utter dismay, outrage and disappointment that my the audiobook copy I purchased in April 2020 was pulled from my Library. Pastor Rick Warren, I do not understand how you can condone such an egregious violation of people’s rights. I considered this audiobook a precious masterpiece, a gem and gift and to be fair I gave it a perfect score but just as you said “an unopened gift is useless” and now that I can no longer have access to my book my gift is useless to me isn’t. What a crying shame!Wonderfully Powerful & Life Changing

The book is designed to be read over a course of 40 days, which I did in my first reading, but in my second reading, I completed it in a few days. The Purpose Driven Life answers life's most important question: What on earth am I here for? If you don't know the answer, reading Warren's book will provide you the answer in a way that is easy to understand. Even if you are a Christian, this book provides some wise counsel that can help you live life for the glory of God. Unfortunately, there are some major elements lacking in this book. Vital doctrines that are missing include man's sinfulness and our need for a Savior, the substitute sacrifice of the sinless Christ who bore our sin on the cross. For a serious critique of Rick Warren's Purpose Drive Life (from a reformed perspective), I highly recommend visiting Tim Challies' blog.
