The other advice is worse. I wish I could get my money back and have the author pay for my divorce. Guess who did take all the advice to heart? 🥴🙄Mix up

Not only did it help me understand how my wife's brain is wired and operates it taught me a little about myself and why I react the way I do to certain things. I have used these tools to slow down in an emotionally high times and keep respecting despite the situation wether my hubs or children deserve it. It has been hard at times, easier at others, but over time a softening comes & life changes not just to my spouse & kids, but I softened too (& I needed to be soften just as much as my hubs did). My hubs is starting to respond differently to me now & my kids are too. My kids are even using the verbiage that I picked up from the book and are able to explain how they feel & why they feel disrespected. We still have a way to go, but I know that God used this book & podcast to keep my tired wounded heart from turning away from my husband & to soften my response to my children in elevated situations. My husband and I listened to the love and respect podcasts while on a road trip and had the best time discussing and talking and just learning about each other! Wow, is all I can say! We couldn't have paid for a better marriage retreat than what we were experiencing in our own car!Aha!!!

Not only has it helped our responses towards each other in our marital disagreements later on, but it has changed our attitude towards each other and helped us both realize the motive of why our partner behaves towards us sometimes in an unpleasant manner. It has reassured me that I am not alone, and God's will to have a more successful marriage.
