Romance and adventure...and a trip to where an American tradition began…
Libby Edwards, a gifted horsewoman, unwittingly wishes herself back in time to Louisville, Kentucky just before Churchill Downs and the Kentucky Derby become a reality. During Libby’s journey in the past, she stumbles upon her destiny. Unfortunately, he’s in the wrong century. In 1874, there’s no electricity, no internet, no modern medicine, no antibiotics—no Starbucks! And even worse than that, women have no rights. Libby has no desire to stay.
Widower, Colin Thorpe, a renaissance man of his time, has big dreams. He is a horse breeder who names his thoroughbreds after Mythological Gods because he has a reverence for past cultures and an appreciation for the unexplainable.

Not Good - DO NOT RECOMMEND
2By haliwaruWhen it was good it was really good but when it was bad it was really, really , really, really bad! Word vomit, unnecessary storylines and unrealistic behaviors, responses and actions. I understand that this fantasy because it’s time travel but even so the author needs to draw the reader in and make them believe it could be real or that they can relate. The author failed miserably. Also you can’t go back in time to the Antebellum South and make it seem ok. She makes no reference to slaves or servants but provides other historical details. That pretty much ruined it for me. SEX SCENES - Yes, vanilla, missionary, very tame; no explicit details.Time Will Tell

4By littlekyahAlthough a little predictable, this book was entertaining and kept me interested right up to the end. I am from Kentucky and loved the references to my home state. A few horses in the story were also a plus.
