Description

She’s a fortune-hunter. He’s nobody’s prey.
Adam, Earl of Bexley, lives to work. His only relief is the sordid savagery of bare-knuckle boxing. Not women, and definitely not a disreputable, scheming woman who dances in secret with such passion…
Caro Small is desperate to escape her selfish family. Her only chance is a good marriage, and she intends to marry Adam—whether he likes it or not. But the more she schemes to entrap him, the more she risks trapping her own heart.
Adam won’t be caught by a fortune-hunter’s ambitious schemes. But the vulnerable, passionate woman underneath the plots might just bring him to his knees.

This book needs some editing, as the typos were distracting. The story moved at a snails pace. Also, the story ended very abruptly. It could have been a good story with have of the words and a more complete ending.

Authors who use disgusting 4 letter words are low class. This book was not worth reading. I will never consider another contribution of this author

I would have liked an epilogue to the story.

A little slow moving in the middle. The pages leading to the end were much better.

Loved this book. It was the perfect 'bed bound with the flu on a weekend' type book. The strength of the characters, the poetic flow of words and exciting action of events made for nonstop reading. It was never boring or confusing, but had depths and heights in a continuous outpouring of the lives involved. Thank you. It made my having the flu worthwhile and forgettable, except when I sneezed or coughed or had to blow my nose. So annoying to have to stop reading a minute or two! Keep up the great work!
