5By North of DisneylandI loved the book and its characters were women! I loved it because, it was interesting seeing how each women dealt with the bumps to their emotions. It was twisty & turned just at the right time. Of course, there were men in the book but, Pam, Sandra & Maria were the major characters! As any large family contains mother’s, grandmothers,daughters they also include, fathers, sons, grandsons, husbands and you have two large families here! This book is set in NewYork City & it’s Burroughs & the beach in Long Island. The Author writes so, well that you can fell the heat and smell the stink of a very large dirty city. But, you can feel the Sea breeze and the briney odor of the beach! I definitely recommend this book and you’ll be glad you got it!Pam of Babylon
