Description

Army vet Brant Jacobs is determined not to screw up his first assignment with Team Ambra. Sneak in, retrieve a stolen historical treasure and disappear. Easy...up until a woman in yoga pants stumbles upon his less than legal exchange of goods. She attracts too much trouble to be left on her own, but bringing her along might put his mission – and his heart – in the greatest danger of all.

Michaela Alberto only took the stupid delivery job out of necessity. How the crap she wound up here - between the barrel of a mobster's gun and some super secret government agent - is beyond unfair. Now they're on the run and Brant promises her safety, but trusting the handsome stranger might be the hardest job she's ever had.

5 STARS ⭐️ 🌟 ⭐️ 🌟 ⭐️ Suspenseful! Edgy! Intrigued to the max! Mystery with subtle, unlikely, romance building up...at first. This eBook story is fast paced. Peaked my interest from the beginning clear to the end. Characters introduced smoothly. Easy to follow each, as the story evolved. Humor thrown in at intervals, was surprisingly appealing! I read this in ONE sitting. New author to me, Lyn Brittan. KUDOS TO YOU, LYN !!!!!!!!!! I am a new fan. Keep up the GREAT stories!!! I plan on buying and reading the rest of this series. 5.0 out of 5 starsAbsolutely adorable! ByMelanie S.on October 15, 2016 Format: Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase The Knight of Ambra is a romance of a different kind - the kind I couldn't put down. A wonderfully quirky cross between a James Bond thriller and a screwball comedy, the plot is one part action, one part romance, and one part just plain delusional. I adored the two main characters, both of whom are clever, earnest, endearing, and a few french fries short of a Happy Meal. The writing is fast-paced, perfectly understated, and tongue-in-cheek. I smiled the whole way through the book. Oh, please, I want more!
