Description
Tarian Xannon fights demons like the rest of us.
This time, the demon just happens to be real.
Tarian Xannon stands to inherit the water artifact, one of four elemental objects that grants the user enormous power and responsibility. With it she’ll lead the secret magical Society, hiding in plain sight in the modern world.
But when Tarian is blindsided by a demon-like creature who steals her blood, it launches a chain of events that marks the beginning of change for her family and the world.
As Tarian struggles to contain the chaos, her world unravels. Each step she takes makes things worse. In her quest to save her family, she might end up destroying the things she tries so desperately to protect.
Stronger Than Magic is the first book in the House of Xannon elemental magic series. If you like urban fantasy featuring strong women using magic, skill, and courage to save the world one catastrophe at a time, you’ll love the House of Xannon.
Reviews
Satisfying Magic
5By GrandValientFrom the get go something about the young, seemingly foolish, heroine grabs you. Not sure you want to join her, but at the same time too compelling to leave undiscovered. As you learn more about the society/power you want to ask more. Old story of bid for power by a sociopath, with a new twist on magic & nature. Would read again to make sure I missed nothing, before moving on to the next in the series; however, this was a complete adventure story with somewhat of an ending, it didn’t just leave the reader hanging like so many series books do.This book was not good
1By Phoenix NefretThe “heroine” makes bad choices that are almost painful to read. I finished the book so I could review it. Not a book that I recommend.Page Turner
5By snc95So hard to put down! Pulls every emotion out of you, feels like you’re watching on the sidelines and want to yell directions!Stronger than magic

3By ColumbusdenverThe story was predictable, but the characters were still compelling. The characters slowly evolved with their adventures, which is something many writers miss. Bottom line: I plan to read the second book in the series.House of Xxannon book 1
4By middle school teachetGood read! Kept me guessing and trying to figure out the mystery. Looking forward to Book Two.Stronger Than Magic
5By Pinchi ToesReally loved this book. It kept me wanting to read it to the very end without putting it down. The characters are exciting and keep you interested and involved. Looking forward to the next book in the series. A must read book.Great read
4By Protector of literacyIt was a good blend of erotica & fantasy. It had a lot of depth & dimension you don’t find in contemporary/ erotica category which I appreciated. Because it is fantasy, I do wish she would have explained concepts better. I liked it a lot. There were a lot of twist & turns. Everything isn’t spelled out, there’s some r-reading/ inferences you have to make butlike I said it was a good blend of story & sex. I love a good story with romance to spice it up. So I really appreciate that this book had both.Great book
4By AndrewTaylor301This book is wonderful, I was captured from start to finish and only put the book down to eat, it kept you guessing who the bad guy was and then made you question your thought! Really good readTo slow bored to death
1By lostalloatienceafter20triesIt’s so confusing and slow. I enjoys books, reading is my favorite pastime, but this book was the first book to make me fall asleep.
