George Gordon Byron (22 Jan 1788 – 19 Apr 1824), was an English poet and a significant character in the Romantic movement, and one of its most notorious members. Among Byron's best-known works are Don Juan, Childe Harold's Pilgrimage and She Walks in Beauty.  Byron is up to date often regarded as one of the most influential British poets. He traveled all over Europe, was a Greek War with ottomans veteran, and died soon after at the age of 36.
Lara is a narrative poem by Lord Byron. The story follows Count Lara, who was on his way back to British Isles. After voyages across orient, he comes back to his estate. However, his long absence did no good for his reputation among his subjects and fellow noblemen.
