By John Sandford
An extraordinary Lucas Davenport thriller from #1 New York Times–bestselling author and Pulitzer Prize winner John Sandford.
After the events in Gathering Prey, Lucas Davenport finds himself in a very unusual situation—no longer employed by the Minnesota BCA. His friend the governor is just cranking up a presidential campaign, though, and he invites Lucas to come along as part of his campaign staff. “Should be fun!” he says, and it kind of is—until they find they have a shadow: an armed man intent on killing the governor...and anyone who gets in the way.

Don't put it all out2By Slow it down;plzMaybe you should slow down with the action. This book is suppose to have lots of action I know but still. It was like a tsunami, this is just like the hunger games. So much you need to know so you have to watch and read everything why?
Back on Top5By RedDog1Excellent!! After a couple of tepid mail-ins, these last two in the Prey series have returned Sandford and Davenport to the top of the heap. Great tale, great details, well told at a breakneck pace. Glad to see Mr. Sandford went away somewhere and got rested up and ornery again.
Extreme prey1By Muskie101Worst book in the series...looking forward to Lucas getting back to work
As Always5By rcbma....another great read from John Sandford. The plot is contemporary, without being obvious about it, and raises issues about the political divide of hatred in America. That said, it's Sandford at his best and Davenport always right in the middle of it. Now I'll have to wait on the next Virgil Flowers book for six months - a depressing thought but always worth the wait.
Extreme Prey5By KGTOOEVERY BOOK IN THE “PREY”SERIES IS READABLE, THIS ONE IS NO EXCEPTION. THE ENDING OPENS A PATHWAY FOR DAVENPORT TO CONTINUE INTO NEW ADVENTURES. HOPE SANFORD IS UP TO THE TASK.
