Nobody deserves to die that way.
In the Las Vegas desert a once famous pop singer lies dead, the only clue to her murder a bizarre disfigurement.
To avoid the hassle of a media frenzy, the local police sergeant decides to call in his old mentor Wade Parker to consult on the case.
After nearly dying eight months ago, Miranda Steele can't wait to get back to real detective work. If she can't solve this case, not only will she fail her destiny, another psycho killer might get away with murder. But Parker harbors secret reservations about their new venture together.
Especially when he suspects there might be more to this murder than meets the...eye.

5By Ralphnun1I thought it was very good.Good read
3By P&CKSome surprises, but you knew they were coming. Just an okay book.Good
4By Swan rockGreat to read stories that are not x-rated or vulgar. Not sure if I like today's writers always making the females such fighters and so macho. Yes I am older generation where men were stronger and women were the comforters but complimented each other.Ridiculous read
1By Amigo73A murder in Las Vegas, and the 1st act of the homicide detective is to call in, and have the department pay for, a private eye? Right. And it gets dumber from there. The detective asks the ME if there are fingerprints on a piece of evidence. The ME doesn’t dust for prints., but we are supposed to believe this author. Don’t even get me started on the romance that didn’t belong in this juvenile who done it. Nancy Drew was more believable. Rate this for young adults and leave it at that. Mature readers, take a hard pass. All eyes on me
5By Grandma Fox 85Just found one error in editing spelling ( word was trunk but spelled truck or vice versed) . Had several bad words that I really hate but all in all I kept reading because it was a good book and recommend it to everyone. Ole grandma 💕❤️Fiction in Vegas
4By Grandma PretzelEnjoyed this mystery. Characters very believable. Good twists and turns in story line. All Eyes on Me.
5By GGRANNY.Oh I love Detective Miranda Steele. And her elite hubby CEO her ‘employer’❣️What great feelings between those two. Good story. Sgt.O’Toole not such a ‘tool’ in the end. He saw the light about ladies❗️And changed his slovenly ways… we hope🤣Too easy to figure out.
2By SquidgymomI should be a PI if I could figure out the plot faster than the professionals. Plus too many typos in the iBook version. If you are going to write a book about Vegas, at least name the hotels and casinos.Fast-paced Thriller!
5By SrkdkFrom the very first page, this book kept my interest, reading way past when I intended to stop!
