The story was an interesting read and kept me interested in how the characters were portrayed but there was very little mention in the SiFi plot

Good characters good writing enjoyable read

A great apocalyptic tale with a cast you could only dream of being teamed with. No aliens yet, but they’re out there dealing misery to the entire globe, and it’s going to take some miracles to survive. Can’t wait to read the next one!

Great book, well paced. But when I went to look for the second one, it’s not on Apple Books!

Good book. So good, I ordered the next seven books. This story in first book is very realistic. How life as we know it could end any day. Can’t wait to get the rest of the books.

Omg best book ever moan plz

If you are prepping there are several things to think about. I have seen looting take place in a day or two after a disaster but the breakdown would take a little longer than this story I think. But large groups of marauders; the viciousness of them; food and water are things to think about. Also being part of a group give you more chance of survival when shtf. A pretty good story.

Great read

I found this to be an enjoyable story reminiscent of Lucifer's Hammer, Footfall and Fallen Angels. A nice day's diversion.

Well told story. Entertaining. While I mostly enjoyed the story, a couple of things bugged me. This crew started out very well equipped, awfully convenient all that. The body count and the ability of the protagonists to generally overcome their enemies was pushing credibility just a little bit. I had no trouble with the depiction and number of sociopathic scum that came out of the woodwork, after all this is the U.S. I feel that the conflicts were probably somewhat sanitized, actually. As Americans sense of entitlement and privilege is eroded, I expect they will behave that way and even more despicably. It's just that sometimes things seemed a little too easy. But all in all I enjoyed the story and think I may try out the subsequent books. Thanks.
