Description
Protecting the prince is easy. Falling in love with him while saving the world is . . . complicated.
An eighteen-year-old covert agent is pulled out of training before graduation by Black X, an espionage group so secret even the President of the United States doesn't know it exists.
For her first mission, she must go undercover as the long-lost daughter of a recently deceased billionaire, infiltrate high society, and protect the Prince of Montrovia from assassination.
But Prince Lorenzo is known as the Playboy Prince for a reason and his sensuality and charisma add a whole other level of complication to her mission.
She knows that her every move is being watched, but what she doesn’t know is that the Prince is just a chess piece in a bigger game that will have world-wide ramifications. And that Blackwood Academy, the place she has called home for the past six years, has secrets of its own.
Reviews
Spy-mazing
5By bell31🦄This book is so amazing and is just so action packed. I recommend this to anyone who loves spies, drama, romance, and action.Out Right Ridiculous
1By bbsfreshHmm a eighteen year old spy girl, who has a crush on every guy with a pulse, not to mention she’s very dim witted which is ironic considering spies are supposed to be intelligent. In one instance, the spy and the prince she’s protecting run for cover because they are being shot at and in the midst of dodging gunfire the two start kissing , which is totally ridiculous. This charade of a book is Sweet Valley High meets Charlie’s Angel on acid, a bad combo indeedA must read series
5By Skuda IIAs someone who doesn’t review very often, I felt that everyone needs to know that this series is a must read. Each book is just as good as the first. It’s not a series that moves on to a new couple/situation with each book but keeps the story flowing though out them all. I love it!! Jillian is a great author in not only this series but her other books as well.Knock off of the Gallagher Girls books
3By FlurppThe story is decent but the writing is pretty juvenile. And the entire time i kept having deja vu moments from the Gallagher girl series that came out years ago (before these) because they are definitely extremely similar. Not saying she legit copied those buuttttt if you've read any of those books you'll know what I'm talking about. But i suppose if I'm giving this author the benefit of the doubt how different can teen spy girl books really get?Don’t Bother
1By Em19000I read the summery and was so excited the book looked and sounded amazing, but I couldn’t get through the first chapter. It reads like it’s written by a middle schooler. Great idea, but terrible executionPleasantly surprised!
5By RebeccaDFrancoWhen Jillian announced she was working on a spy type book I was a little disappointed. I didn't think it would be a plot that would capture my attention as much as her other books had in the past but boy was I WRONG! This book had me hooked from the very start. It's almost a modern day Cinderella story if Cinderella knew multiple languages and had the skill set to kill people. There's drama and romance on the turn of almost every page! I highly recommend this book and can't wait for the rest of the series!Great book
5By sdfsanThis was a very good book I could not put it down. The character were very believable. Good plot line and left room for other books in a seriesNot that good
1By sophiaaasI wanted to like this book but unfortunate couldn't connect with the writing or the characters. Moves very fast with little detail and left me unable to picture anything in my mind. UnfortunateDifferent but intriguing
5By Scooterbug4I enjoyed this book. I remained Interested in the story line through out the whole book. The characters were thought out thoroughly and gives you the feeling of being the spy and imagining how fun it would be to be one.Meh
3By Nevie8878I got thru it, but that's about it.
