The Eagle

This series is definitely not an adult series. I must have missed the part where it said it was for young readers. It absolutely is. Although there is sex mentioned in the book it does not give specifics or details. It is definitely a preteen or young teen series that has a lot of imaginative spy gear built in and very little romance.

This series is like chocolate once you have a bite you can’t put it down. I’m still fishy about Daniel and his little antics. The Ohmigosh moments were so close and you’re on the edge of the seat wondering if it’s all going to go according to plan. Then their is The Who is Ghost and all these people other than we know who the dean is. SERIOUSLY in a need to know.

With the way Spy Girl ended, one would think The Eagle would pack a bit of a punch. And man does it ever. Talk about a page burner. I ate this book up. I love me some suspense and I also love me some hardcore romance. I love that Huntley is such a kick-butt heroine. I like that she is all business with a touch of play. Her part is played well. But I wonder, is it really a role she is playing? We are given bits and pieces of her back story and what had happened to her mother. We are also given bits and pieces of all of the yummy men lusting after her. So, I suppose this book leads me to believe, we will expect the unexpected!! With The Eagle, Huntley is sent on a new mission. The mission is to find the person who took her mothers life, and finish him. It was a fly by the seat your pants, from start to finish read. This book has Huntley on a personal mission, and you could feel the desire to seek vengeance on, 'The Priest.' Talk about woah, lots of surprising factors pop up throughout this mission. I mean, things I didn't even think could happen, happened. Get ready to be blown out of the water with this book! The Eagle was another great addition to this series. Who knew with each book, Huntley would grow so much. She is another one of my favorite heroines, that Author JD has created. With the way things ended in this book, it had me gripping with excitement to start The Society.

This series is AMAZING! Love LOVE LOVEEEEE! It's a thrilling ride filled with twists and turns that I devoured almost too quickly! Sexy, fun and intense..this became one of my favorite series right off the bat!

The second book in the spy girl series was just as addicting as the first! Fast cars, hot wealthy men, romance and drama what's not to love? I was hooked!

I loved this book! It was full of action, suspense and a completely unexpected turn of events towards the end! I had a hard time liking the main character in the first book but you can definitely see her growth in book 2! I can't wait to read The Society (book3)!

This is the second book in Spy Girl series must read in order. The book will have you on the edge of your seat with the suspense and action. It will make you laugh and cry and feel the emotions of what is going on in the story. Can't wait to see what happens next.

I love a story where the lead female character is strong but has a vulnerable side to her! This series fulfills that along with a large helping of glamour, excitement, espionage, and romance. I am so looking forward to the next installment of the series! I pre-paid for the next book, can't wait :) I plan to tell my friends to be sure and start this series. Thanks so much to the author!
