This was a great pirate novel. Aidan is determined to find and kill Roche Santiago after remembering what Roche had done to him and his mother when he was a little boy. Sarah is Roche's daughter, and has been basically kept as a prisoner her whole life. She has no idea what kind of person her father is, but Aidan figured she would make great leverage/bait to get Roche. There was a ton of drama and suspense and action in this story. I really enjoyed the interactions between Aidan and Sarah, as she came to grips with a new reality about her father, and Aidan struggled to remind himself that Sarah wasn't responsible for her father's actions. This was a wonderful story and I sacrificed sleep to get to the end because I just couldn't wait to see how everything worked out.
