4By Lillypadgreen12I listened to this audio book because I am a big fan of Deborah Cook and Saskia Maarleveld. To be honest, at first it took some getting use to since it is so completely different from the books I have been reading lately. In the end, I'd say I actually was surprised by the fact that I enjoyed listening to it so much more than I ever imagined. It's always good to break out of a rut/habit and read or listen to something completely different from your norm. I can honestly say that I'm looking forward to reading/listening to the remaining books in this series. If you're looking for something unique and refreshingly different, you should check out this series by Deborah Cook. I really enjoyed this experience.A great new sci-fi romance novella about dragons
4By RybecbensmomWyvern's Mate is the first in a new series by Deborah Cooke that features 12 dragon shifter daughters of a king and their journey to find their true loves (which we all know, in the world of dragons is not easy). This story is about The eldest daughter, Drakina, and a Mindbender from earth, Troy. All Drakina wants to do is find Troy, seduce him, fertilize her egg and then live a happy independent life without her father trying to pair her off. Troy, meanwhile, is tasked with a job that will mean his death if he doesn't complete it. What follows is a fun, sexy short story. My only major problem with the story was that it was only a novella so it was too short for me. This is a great story for those looking for a sci-fi, paranormal romance to entertain themselves for a couple hours. Copy gifted by the Publisher in exchange for an honest review.Wyvern's Mate
