  • Saving their communities and saving each other

I have not read many novels about the fae world and this did not disappoint at all. From the start I was intrigued but the characters and pulled into their world. The descriptions painted a vivid picture about their world and how things are run. The story revolves around two enemies that are drawn to each other and do not want to be. Misconceptions and stereotypes don’t help their views of each other. The queen of the sun fae (Cleia) is kidnapped in an effort by the Lord Dion of the river fada to save his people. Through struggles, frustrations, a bit of steam and learning about each other they find they need to work together to heal Dion’s people and help Cleia’s as well. I enjoyed their banter, tension and the suspense of the book. Highly recommend
