Description

BOOK ONE IN THE E SERIES

Life is harsh. It makes no exceptions. Not even for the innocent.

Outpost Three: a huddle of crumbling buildings choked by a concrete wall. Cracked pavement, rusted metal, splintering boards. Huge robotic Sentries police the streets, but the Ten Laws are broken every time one turns its back.

Eden is determined, smart, and a born survivor. Stripped of her memories and dumped on the streets of the Outpost, slavers and starvation are only the beginning of her problems. A devastating conflict is coming that threatens to consume her world and tear her newfound family apart.

“Absolutely heart-stopping! Grizzly, dark, haunting and gripping in a way that kept me glued in to the very end. If you are looking for a strong and smart heroine in a kick butt dystopian world, this is the book for you.” - Leti Del Mar, author

This book took me a while to read, though every time I opened the app, I went straight to the book. The writing is beautiful, and Eden is so much more different from other characters I’ve read about. She pulls you into the story and suddenly you’re sprinting away from a Sentry and splashing across the snow and blood scorched puddles practically painted into the Outposts concrete ground. I’d recommend this book to any person who doesn’t mind gore and loves romantic tension. Although this does not have any romantic scenes, you can still have hope for Eden and her friends. I would say the genre is futuristic and sci-fi, along with a tinge of drama. Once again, the writing will drag you along side Eden, Miranda, Apollon, Neveah, Oscar, and Jonas. I hope more people read this!

First in a series, this book is fascinating. The characters are believable and well developed. Eden is the ultimate survivor, going it alone or as a part of a small group, she survives apocalyptic conditions. Will Jonas, Matt or Grey breach her walls?
