Description

From New York Times bestselling author Chantal Fernando comes the latest in the Wind Dragons Motorcycle Club series featuring a red-hot romance and plenty of mystery!

Ranger is at a crossroads: he has a chance to leave the motorcycle club and do something else with his life—but he keeps getting dragged back. When the Wind Dragons Motorcycle Club asks for his help, Ranger agrees, not only because it is hard to say no to them, but also because he has a vested interest.

A woman is missing.

And Ranger knows her.

The Wind Dragons aren’t the only ones hoping this girl can be found—on the hunt is Johanna Chase, a stubborn detective who won’t give up until the missing woman is found safe. She needs Ranger to navigate the underground world of motorcycle clubs, and immediately, sparks fly. Ranger fights the attraction. He has no plans on going there, no matter how beautiful and badass she is. A biker and a cop? Ridiculous.

But the two of them soon realize that they’re in way over their heads, and now they have to trust each other in order to save her. With the WDMC and the police force at their back, it should be no problem, right?

So this series started out great and each book just went downhill. I was really looking for ward to Rangers story from the beginning when he was introduced in Anna and Arrow’s book. I don’t know it fell flat the story plateaued mid way through. Like the found her missing cousin mid book. Also he didn’t act like I expected . He actually was very juvenile. Childlike in a way. Talons book is where it started to fall I hated the ending do that book because there was no ending. It just stopped and you thought oah it will pick up in the next book and it didn’t.

I loved this one! It's very light on the MC side (I don't mean this as a criticism) and leans more toward romantic suspense. The characters are very interesting and I was enthralled waiting to see which path their life would take. Ranger has recently patched over to the Wind Dragons when his old club The Wild Men basically imploded. He's struggling to find his place in the MC though and has him questioning whether this is really where he wants to be. When Faye pulls him in to help with a case she's handling he knows he can't refuse. This particular case is personal to him. Meeting and working with Johanna Case is just a bonus. Sparks fly between these two but how could anything work between them. He's a biker and she's a cop. When that turns out to be the least of their worries the story really gets interesting. This is one I would recommend to everyone!
