An Advent calendar of activities soon has Nicki pulling Quincy out of the house to get a tree and ice skate with his son. Now Quincy must hire someone to help him look after his dad who is a diabetic and his son who has speech issues and is kind of closed off. Nicki is an undiscovered, disillusioned actress who has gone to school to retrain as a nursing companion. Quincy is not quite sure what to make of her bubbly personality, but decides to take a chance on her anyways. Nicki soon realizes that Quincy needs some nudges in how to be a father, so she comes up with an activity filled advent calendar. It soon becomes evident that Nicki may be just who Quincy and Atlas need to help them make a family, but will Quincy be able to get past his own restrictions and claim happiness before it is too late?4 stars

Although I don’t read a lot of Christmas books, this was a different way of presenting a holiday romance compared to other books I’ve read. My only comment to the author is, if you are referring to the city of “Pittsburg” located in southwest Pennsylvania, please take a moment to verify the current spelling. Should you be speaking of a Pittsburg in another state, please consider specifying the state. People who are familiar with Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania take pride in what some might call a unique spelling of the city just like they take pride in their professional sports teams, the Pittsburgh Pirates, Pittsburgh Steelers and the Pittsburgh Penguins! 😉. It’s a great city so stop by the next time you’re in the area! 😃His Christmas Miracle

Never knowing about his child he's not convinced he can be a good parent until he hires failed actress Nikki Darren to help them out. Nikki breathes life and Christmas cheer into there home. soon even Quincy cant say no to the Christmas spirit only attracting the two of them together. But when Nikki is offered the acting gig of her career will she chose work or the family she has grown so attached to.
