3By Atlz3My usual genre is historical romances not magical. Overall rating B +. Basic story poor relation tries to support herself after being given shape changing powers by a fairy at age 25. She turns into a he and is employed as a secretary. I admit I was a bit over the pego references. Her boss is defending life and name throwing in a dash of abolitionist. Good read but drags a bit lighten up by 75-100 pages.Very Good!

Some things concerning Charlotte also brought tears to my eyes. A long and very satisfying historical romance. I will definitely be reading more books by this author.Great read.
