The human tongue is a mighty instrument. When it is out of control, it can lead to shame and defeat. On the other hand, when it is disciplined, sanctified, and readily armed with God’s Word, the tongue can be brought into every circumstance of our life, to speak forth the truths of our faith and defeat the enemy at every turn.
Winning the battle of the tongue is one of the most essential steps toward standing victorious in the pivotal days of spiritual conflict that lie ahead. More than that, we are commanded to present our body as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is our reasonable service. (See Romans 12:1.) To that end, I dedicate this book and invite you to follow its scriptural principles as they guide you into a new position of power and authority—a position of winning!
My prayer is that as you read this, you will be challenged in a greater way than ever before, to bring your tongue into submission to the Holy Spirit, and to begin to speak forth the Word—in the power and authority that God has planned for you.
