I normally don’t review books but this one was very good! None of those annoying filler chapters where nothing happens. Short, sweet, and straight to the point like I like it! Can’t wait to read more of this series!

Wow what chemistry between Liam & Olivia, off the charts. Will their opposite ways of life keep them from being together & what it takes to keep them together. Great story.

This story had me interested right at the beginning and throughout the entire story. I liked the interactions of the main characters and want to continue reading. Thank you for completing the story lines and not leaving the reader hanging.

Held my interest. Entertaining. Liked the plot about a doctor and hockey player. However, skipped lots of pages where they were having sex. Not my cup of tea.

Sweet, romantic, and hot!

Criox does not disappoint! I absolutely love the characters she has created and how she is able to make their love story so unique. Of course it was a page turner and I look forward to reading more of her books.

I never thought I been in too sports romances but now that I am I have such a wider genre of books too read loved this one

This story was pretty good. I found myself wanting to know what would happen next. The characters were pretty good. Very real and I could picture this occurring. Just enough romance to make it enjoyable.

I love it when the male lead is written as authentically masculine (which includes vulnerability). I had a little trouble with the female lead since her issues weren’t delineated in such a way as to make sense. Sometimes it just seemed like drama for drama’s sake. All in all though, I really enjoyed the chemistry and the overall story. I look forward to reading the rest of the Brits series.

The Play is beautifully written book from J.H. Croix. J.H. Croix is a master of writing about relationships in The Play. She has woven a beautiful love story between Olivia, an successful Sports Orthopedic surgeon and Liam a famous soccer player who becomes her patient. I loved how their love story intertwined relationships of doctor/patient, best friends, employers, and griief/love of parents. You will enjoy reading this book and can't I wait for the next book to read in the Brit Boys Sports series. I received a free copy of this book and have voluntarily choose to review it.
