4By Lovey18I like this book...a lot. However, his name keeps throwing me off. It should’ve just been Nick. How do you even moan Nickel,like, how does that even come out sexy? I can’t seem to imagine it. I just wish you chose a better nickname for him than Nickel because I keep wanting to call him Penny just for the hell of it. And Penny probably would’ve been better. I’m sorry 🤷🏼♀️Ew

5By Reckless ReadersWow, Beautifully written and a great kick start to the Fallen Lords MC series. Great mixture of MC business and love story. There were some serious issues at play but nothing was too dark. Nickel Cunningham is the Sergeant of Arms of the Fallen Lords and has tried for a year to get Karmen to open up to him. He is 100% domineering alpha but a sweet talked all wrapped up in one hot sizzling package. Karmen Handel is sweet, smart and innocent but has been dealt a crap hand in life. Nickel understands Karmen quirks and helps her deal with things as they come and not obsessively overthink everything. He brings out the funny carefree side of Karmen and she is his ray of sunshine in the day. They compliment each other even though they are opposites. Their chemistry is off the charts and has a realness to it that I appreciated. We are left with a few unanswered questions at the end but I can say this is the first time I wasn't mad at a semi-cliffhanger ending. Karmen & Nikki (her best friend) are hilarious and I can't wait to see Nikki again in Pipe's book coming November 2017.
