Misadventures of a College Girl

I am literally bursting with LOVE for this book! It was like the merging of all of my favorite things into one story. From the songs/music highlighted (Harvey Danger, George Michael, to the musical Wicked), the pop culture references, and to the fantastic location at UCLA - it was pure perfection from start to finish. There were times while reading that I thought that the author was inside my head. Lauren Rowe and I are clearly twinsies. Misadventures of a College Girl was such an awesome new adult/college sports romance. It was fun, sweet, and so sexy. Tyler may have come across initially as a cocky douchebag, but it was his vulnerability, drive, and thoughtfulness that won me over. I really enjoyed the playful banter and innuendo between him and Zooey and that she didn't let his charm turn her into a swooning fangirl - well, at least not all the time. ;) Their meet cute may have leaned more to the lust driven side than cute, but what ended up developing between them was organic and natural. I loved that there wasn't any unnecessary drama and that the story focused on Tyler and Zooey. The obstacles they face are realistic and honest. I respected both characters immensely for not letting their dreams fall by the wayside and for being true to themselves. This modern day Romeo and Juliet story will have you laughing and swooning. I could not have had a bigger smile on my face and a happier heart when I finished. Wow! What a great story. Talk about book hangover! I loved every minute of this hilarious love story.

I had to digest the words Lauren put on the pages because it was so raw, emotional, selfless, heartbreaking, and REAL. If you are looking for something honest and real THIS RIGHT HERE is the book for you! This book could be anyone of us! I felt it in my soul. For those of us already out of college this will transport you back in time. This book is so relatable that at points I thought wow you too?! Lol There is nothing more honest and real than love ... and when it’s your first, TRUE love it’s UNSTOPPABLE!! These characters could be anyone of us and that’s what makes this book a bestseller for me! You are going to fall and fall HARD for the H and h. Lauren has these things I call magic fingers because whenever those magic fingers get to work they give me life! This book is magical! ✨

I loved this book so much that I could not stop reading, and I read it in one night! Lauren Rowe knows how to pull me into her characters and plot and never let me go. I love the mixture of heat, heart and humor in this book, just like I do in all of Lauren’s books. You will not be disappointed if you buy this book!

OMG!! Lauren just keeps getting better and better. This book has everything you need: chemistry, humor, sexiness, and flawless writing. I loved this story of Tyler and Zooey. They are great together and became one of my favorite couples. Read this book; you will not be disappointed.

I absolutely loved Tyler and his sexy and charming personality. Zooey is funny and naive it’s fabulous to watch her evolve in this story. Banter and chemistry is off the charts. Highly recommend this book.

LADIES! LADIES! LADIES! Listen to me please. This book, the characters, the feels, the banter, the heat, the laughs, the love, the heartbreak…the list goes on and on. You will get everything you didn’t realize you needed with Zooey and Tyler in this sexy romance. Zooey is heading off to college and can’t wait to “start her life.” I truly adored her zest for life and sassy personality. She was naïve in many ways, but yet adventurous in a fun and flirty way. I remember what it felt like to be away from home for the first time, to have no adult supervision and finally be on your own. You felt ready to conquer the world. It’s an exciting new journey and Lauren captures the thrill of it all beautifully. I don’t know how she does it, but Lauren transports you into the story and you feel like you’re being reunited with your long-lost friends. And in this case, you’re back at college. Tyler is just…WOW! This man-child is hot, sexy, swoony and funny as all get out. He’s the quintessential football player in the sense that he is a player, big time. However, he doesn’t make excuses for being a lady’s man and is honest about what he wants out of a relationship. What he wants out of a relationship is to NOT to have one! Sure, maybe that makes him cocky, but his drive and determination to do something big in his life is a real turn-on. Since we're talking about turn-ons, rest assured his swoony, sexy talk will make you combust in the most delicious way. He’s smart and while he takes life seriously, he still manages to have fun. Needless to say, when Zooey and Tyler get together there are fireworks, lots of chemistry and goofy smiles. It’s virtually impossible not to fall in the love with them both. They’re young and have so much life to live, so it goes without saying that some very adult-like decisions need to be made where their future is concerned. As much as my heart broke for them as they struggled to do the right thing, I admired how they always tried to put each other’s ambitions first. Bottom line, this was a great read. Lauren’s writing is clever and witty, smart and fresh. She does not disappoint at all in this fun, hot and sexy romance. You will swoon, laugh and maybe shed a few tears. Despite that, I can guarantee you will be smiling like a fool by the time to get done with Zooey and Tyler’s journey!

Misadventures of a College Girl is already a favorite this year! What blew me away is how a storyline that isn't necessarily unique, felt absolutely brand new in this story. Again, BLOWN AWAY!!! Tyler Caldwell was the best surprise. Seriously, he took my breathe away again and again. While he's so obviously handsome and cocky, this football star had so much depth and emotional intelligence. Every word he spoke had me falling for him even more. I just ADORED him! Zooey Cartwright is the heroine you dream you'll have the pleasure of reading in a romance novel. She was gorgeous, sassy, wickedly talented and such a funny character. I loved her POV, it flowed beautifully with so much realistic aspects to her situation and with so much endearing honestly. I have no doubt, many reviews will mention the belly-laugh inducing hilarity, the ultra steamy scenes that are quintessential in Ms. Rowe's writing. I'd have to agree with all those. But the aspect that I have to give her credit for, is her amazing ability at establishing the most real connections between her characters. Lauren Rowe is an extraordinarily talented author. Which is why I know I'm always guaranteed one heck of an experience every time I pick up one of her books. All the love for Tyler and Zooey. Their love story is one not to be missed!

I love the first round of misadventures books, and was so excited to read the newest one, and I wasnt disappointed! Zooey is heading off to college and can’t wait finally start living her life and start a new adventure! Zooey is the best friend you wished you had in college! Tyler thinks he's Gods gift to women and an unapolagetic player. He has no desire for a relationship and wants to have fun. All that changes when they meet, ther is instant chemistry. You see differents sides to them and are rooting for them to make it. It was an amazing read!

5 Stars Where do I even begin...I can honestly say no matter what I write, I will not do this book justice. Misadventures of a College Girl is hands down going to be one of the best books I’ll read in 2018. Maybe even ever. Lauren Rowe is so freaking incredible. And magical. And inspiring. Her words are beautiful and her mind is extraordinary. With every book she writes you know you will be getting 100% of her-no matter what the story is. And because of that she will have a forever fan in me. Misadventures of a College Girl is full of charm, humor, and SO MUCH HEART! So much that my heart literally was bursting at the seams while reading it. These characters felt so real to me. Their actions, their feelings-I felt them. I’m telling you I could not put this book down. Zooey was the perfect heroine. She had just started at UCLA and was determined to let loose and live her life. And also lose her virginity. Her roommate has the perfect place to find someone. A party. Zooey had every intention to follow through with that plan but when Tyler walks in...it changes everything. “I’m going to lose my virginity tonight to God’s Gift to Womankind. And it’s going to be oh-so good.” Tyler Tyler Tyler...what can I say about this beautiful man. He is a football player looking to make it big. He gets women thrown at him left and right and knows how to score bigtime! But when Zooey propositions him he can’t say no. What was supposed to be a short little rendezvous turned into the biggest game of his life…the question is-will he go for the Hail Mary or will he make the biggest mistake ever and fumble... “And, just like that, you’re a lifelong memory, Tyler Caldwell.” Together, this couple oozed chemistry. They were hilarious and adorable. Their journey was breathtakingly beautiful. I really don’t know how Ms. Rowe is going to top this story but I am 100% confident that she will find a way! “No matter what happens, one day we’ll look back on the twists and turns of our lives and say, ‘I wouldn’t change a thing because it got me to where I am right now, and right now is awesome.’ You’ll see. Everything happens for a reason. I firmly believe that.” PS. And if you can’t tell by my review-GO GET THE BOOK. NOW. You don’t want to miss this one. Trust me.
