Description
Discover the shocking #1 New York Times bestseller: the true story of a young NFL player's first-degree murder conviction and untimely death -- and his journey from the Patriots to prison.
Aaron Hernandez was a college All-American who became the youngest player in the NFL and later reached the Super Bowl. His every move as a tight end with the New England Patriots played out the headlines, yet he led a secret life -- one that ended in a maximum-security prison. What drove him to go so wrong, so fast?
Between the summers of 2012 and 2013, not long after Hernandez made his first Pro Bowl, he was linked to a series of violent incidents culminating in the death of Odin Lloyd, a semi-pro football player who dated the sister of Hernandez's fiancée, Shayanna Jenkins.
All-American Murder is the first book to investigate Aaron Hernandez's first-degree murder conviction and the mystery of his own shocking and untimely death.
Reviews
Book reads like the case for the prosecution
2By Salt Lake Cougar FanI’m always skeptical when non-fiction writers try to tell you what’s inside people’s heads. Hernandez may well be guilty of all 3 murders but I appreciate a more even approach.Worth it
4By Tman901The book was pretty good. The chapters are incredibly short.Motive
4By not a reader of booksUnfortunately I was hoping for some kind of motive or at least a speculation on a motive for any of the murders ....Very interesting

5By jgreg479Such a fantastic book. I literally feel like I was at every single event in the life of Aaron. I honestly feel like he may have made some mistakes but he didn’t kill Odin Lloyd. All American Murder
1By NrdgillI did not like this book! And I have read most of JAMES Patterson’s novels!Great Read
5By SzeducateI generally knew the story about Aaron Hernandez, but did not know the down in the weeds story. This book was excellent. Short chapters that kept me continually engaged in the story. A fast read if there ever was one. Well written and a real page turner. If you are into True Crime stories, this one is for you. My only negative comment is that more attention should have been paid to what made a highly talented football player, who was smart, want to spend his life living in the gutter when he had a $40 million contract that took him out of the gutter.
