Serena DeLaurentis may be concerned about her father but that doesn’t stop her love of shoes. Bruno Lomaglio has gone through a lot to show his love for Serena but she doesn’t even know it. This is a story where the children must pay for the sins of the father. And life where the mafia is concerned isn’t always on the up and up. The price our couple has to pay is a little hard to read. So if you’re overly sensitive consider this a warning. Those willing to take the chance Serena and Bruno aren’t children but teenagers just short of adulthood. But because of their circumstances they must act as adults – a hard way to grow up. Don’t expect a lot of hearts and flowers. There’s also some pain and sorrow. On the other side of the coin, you can expect that Bruno and Selena’s tale to be romantic and more. Expect a lot of action with plenty of twists and turns. The author has a great way with words because I had no trouble envisioning as each scene unfolds. The author recommends reading Bound For Life first but I didn’t feel lost by not reading it. But if the author recommends something I usually listen because who better to know the series than the author themselves. Don’t expect a happy ending but a cliffhanger. So I can’t say that it’s not the perfect ending because it gets you ready for Bound In Love. And I cannot wait but I’ll have to be patient because it doesn’t come out until December – plenty of time to read Bound For Life. I was not compensated nor was I required to write a positive review. So reading Bound to the Mafia, I'd recommend brushing up a bit on Bound for Life. I felt a little lost at first because it had been a while since I'd read the first book, and I've read many others since. I love how a lot of my unanswered questions from the first book finally get answered, also how you finally learn all of Serena's and Bruno's backstory. While not as action packed as the first, this one more then made up for it in the hot and steamy department! Serena and Bruno grow more as a couple and you root even more for them to get their happy ending! Their story is far from over though and the ending of this part was a bigger cliffhanger by far!! Alexis Abbott has once again blown me away!! I willingly received an ARC for an honest review.

I fell more in love with Bruno and Serena. Everything that they went through in this book was intense. Their love for each other is profound. After surviving through so much for the book to end with the most epic cliffhanger ever leaves you screaming and yelling at Alexis Abbott to release the third book sooner. Favorite quote: Bruno on his love for Serena ~ "...you never know how thirsty you are for someone until you're taken away from them." I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

I love it this series. Just a warning start at the beginning off book 1 they're all connected.well worth the read

Great addition to the Bound To The Bad Boy Series Alexis. Like the first book i couldn’t put this book down it kept me reading late int the night so i ahd to finish it. This is part #2 of Bruno and Serena story but faith has throwing a curveball at them, With Bruno in prison and Serena has to try and survive with him not been around. Like book #1 there is plenty of suspense, actiona and steamy HOT scenes. So Alexis is your go to Girl for Mafia stories, A must read you wont be disappointed, I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy. Part 2 is filled with more action, more suspense, and more intenseness with Bruno & Serena. And lots and lots of love. They've been through the ringer, yet they never stop fighting. There's lots of things going on to make you yell, but holy wow, you won't be prepared for the ending. I cannot wait for the final book in the trilogy.
