I read ALOT....I do not say this freely.... this series, Buttons and Lace, and The Muse in Lingerie are the most seductive steamers I have ever read. I devoured them all this summer . Hands down she is my favorite author of the year!Wow!!

I am so happy that I got the ending I hoped for! From the start to the amazing finish, this book is a page turner and must read! Penelope is an amazing author! 3By milleemouseI thought the Scotch King was a great story which of course made me want to read the Scotch Queen. I have to say I probably only read half of it, skipping past the sex scenes because they took up too much real estate and were rather pornographic. The 3rd book, also rather sexually graphic, brought all the conflicts to a peaceful conclusion and had the "and they lived happily ever after" ending that I love in a story. I mean who doesn't love a "love conquers all" story? I wasn't head over heels, but was a nice ending.
