I loved the tropical setting. Joan and Connor’s antics on the island were the best. Their banter had me crack up with laughter. And Manny was the cutest pet in a novel ever written. I also loved how this was a slow burn romance where they got all the feelings first….

A totally delightful romantic comedy helped by a baby monkey. The dialogue is snappy and clever as two strangers spar after being stuck on a lonely island. A fun read!

This novel was adorable. I wanted to become Joanna best friend and of course I’d like to find me a Connor!!! What I loved the most is that there’s an island part, but also an “after part” ... seeing what happens after the rescue. Some parts made me laugh out loud other had me in tears... all in all a perfect romcom!
