The high chair lay on its side, a toy elephant and a crumpled green blanket scattered across the floor beside it.
“She had a baby? Is it—?”
“The baby’s gone.”
When Detective Josie Quinn is called to a large house on the outskirts of the small town of Denton, she’s horrified by the viciousness of the attack – smashed glass, splintered furniture and blood spattered across the floor. The owner, a single mother, is fighting for her life, and her newborn baby is missing.
A beautiful young woman caught fleeing the scene is Detective Josie Quinn’s only lead, but when questioned it seems this mysterious girl doesn’t know who she is, where she’s from or why she’s so terrified…
Is she a witness, a suspect, or the next victim?
As Josie digs deeper, a letter found hidden in the house convinces her the attack, the missing child, and the nameless woman are linked to a spate of killings across the county, and Josie is faced with a heart-breaking decision...
Should she risk the life of one child to save many others? Or can she find another way to stop this killer before any more innocent lives are taken?
Nail-biting, twisty and impossible to put down. If you love gripping thrillers from Angela Marsons, Robert Dugoni and Rachel Caine, you’ll be absolutely hooked!

Great story!
5By klghcn?Well told, fast paced story. Loved every page.Good
3By Leica1991The first book Lisa wrote, which was the vanishing girls had me absolutely hooked. I have enjoyed this authors style of short chapters, but there’s a lot of chapters and easy to follow with cliff hangers and twists that keep you on your toes. So that being said the second one was good i just don’t think it was as crazy as the fist one… I admit for me, sometimes I felt it stretched here and there, but there was always a cliff hanger that kept me going. I still think her first book vanishing girls was better. I am still going to continue the series, because I am wondering if I was bias to this one book because of its pervious characters from the first book … there was characters from the first book that appear in this second book that I just wanted to slap. So I am hoping that her third book is a clean slate from those specific characters. Over all good book, first one was better, and about to buy the third book. Hope she keeps writing these stories.A new series for all-
5By Clinical mindedLisa Regan is a great author. I’m a guy, and I really like detective stuff. Read all Alex cross stuff, women’s Murder club, Candice Fox. Stories became a little hackneyed and I wanted a change. I found the first of the Josie Quinn series and bam, I found my new series! The Girl With No Name
5By kathywamsleyAnother awesome read! Thanks kHooked!
5By kellidunnitThat’s all I can say. The twists and turns are always unexpected. Just when you think you have it figured out another wrench is thrown into the mix. Great series!Great book

2By CjsalmonI tried to like this book but almost didn’t care enough about the characters to even finish it.The girl with no name
5By puma'smomWow! Exciting twists and turns all the way to the end!Losing sleep because of Lisa Regan...
4By MelasI am currently binge reading the Josie Quinn series after finishing The Vanishing Girls a couple of weeks ago, I read it in one day! I just finished The Girl With No Name, for some reason I had a harder time getting into it but once I did I ended up devouring as well, I was up until 6am finishing it. Lisa’s books always have delicious plot twists, I can’t wait to start reading Her Mother’s Grave....its a good thing I am “retired” so I don’t have that pesky thing called work interrupting my reading, now if I could just ignore the other distractions.Hating the Protagonist
2By ErinEli28Got the first book and thought - yes! A new series to really get into, and then very shortly into the second book I realised that this series does not stay true to the core of who their characters are and that the author seems to hate the protagonist. I don’t really enjoy reading books where the protagonist is tortured in a variety of differ ways by the author. Hate to say it, but the series has come to an abrupt end for me.
