By David Hogg & Lauren Hogg
From two survivors of the Parkland, Florida, shooting comes a declaration for our times, and an in-depth look at the making of the #NeverAgain movement.
On February 14, 2018, seventeen-year-old David Hogg and his fourteen-year-old sister, Lauren, went to school at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, like any normal Wednesday. That day, of course, the world changed. By the next morning, with seventeen classmates and faculty dead, they had joined the leadership of a movement to save their own lives, and the lives of all other young people in America. It's a leadership position they did not seek, and did not want--but events gave them no choice.
The morning after the massacre, David Hogg told CNN: "We're children. You guys are the adults. You need to take some action and play a role. Work together. Get over your politics and get something done."
This book is a manifesto for the movement begun that day, one that has already changed America--with voices of a new generation that are speaking truth to power, and are determined to succeed where their elders have failed. With moral force and clarity, a new generation has made it clear that problems previously deemed unsolvable due to powerful lobbies and political cowardice will be theirs to solve. Born just after Columbine and raised amid seemingly endless war and routine active shooter drills, this generation now says, Enough. This book is their statement of purpose, and the story of their lives. It is the essential guide to the #NeverAgain movement.
Not even out yet!5By SmmmzzaAll these negative reviews and the book isn’t even out yet. Now I’ll be sure to buy it just because of all the negative nellies. Then I’ll revisit my review.
If only you’d have the guts they have5By awaltzforvenusBoycotters of this book have simply lived too comfortably. That’s all. If only we all lived so fearlessly and fortunately as to write a book about experiences like this. Until you do, keep your mouth shut about these kids doing the same.
Are these negative comments bots?5By Bad appThis book is not even out yet. Why is Apple even letting us review this book? Why are these losers using all of their energy to bully kids that went through a horrible tragedy? I am sick of seeing this. Ignore the hate and ignorance. They are obviously extremely uneducated and inhuman. Do you even have feelings? Don’t you love how a comment section for reviewing a book can quickly become spammed with nonsense and irrelevant comments. 😆 Tech companies need to start taking action and make sure that their platforms are not being abused by bots and by people!
Socialist propaganda!1By Hogg-washNothing but a diatribe written by a selfish, self-centered, egotistical, manipulative, white privileged child who is already had his 15 minutes of fame. Not worth the paper it’s written on.
the people giving this book one stars are monsters5By Asylum Survivoryou guys are horrible and disgusting i hope you guys all burn in hell for what you're doing
We need to be fair!5By SikhtrgeetThe book is not even out yet but there are all these negative reviews. This doesn’t make sense. I am giving a five star review to infuse some fairness. I will revisit my review after the book is out.

Maybe written just for the book tour?1By darksilicon35Poorly written, rushed book. Singleminded political advocacy at its worst. Occasionally cute anecdotes from a generation that has produced unicorns for the masses and taken on the mantle of being “snowflakes.” If his conclusions were not out of the mouth of a dying 1960’s liberal: what poignant tale of our time it would be. However he takes the easy road and suggests that all we need to do is remove a core American value, freedom and upend hundreds of years of hard fought intellectual battles. Because he happened to encounter a truly horrific life experience. Oh and stifle the freedom of speech that gave him the opportunity to write this book.
Propaganda Against Guns1By BigRetailerEvery American experience more more on 911 then these kids did and one 20 minute period at school. It should be noted that the next trend and social media outbreak has become the killing of children. Any group wanting to take their time money and reputation to promote and agenda to eliminate one of the sacred rights issues under the constitution is unconscionable.
Fake story1By robm375Major problem with this story is that he was not a student at this Florida school. This is nothing more than a money grab
