The one woman he wants…

When a childhood friend needs help, Nova doesn’t hesitate. They endured the foster system together, forging a bond Nova can’t ignore. Relying on her friends from Redemption Harbor Consulting—including Gage, the computer genius she’s falling for—is out of the question. She used to work for the CIA and she’s trained—she can handle this. Besides, the whole team is working on their own important jobs. She’s not going to drag anyone away when she’s not sure it’s necessary.

Is the one he can’t have…

When Nova asks for time off out of the blue—and use of the company jet—former Marine Gage Yates takes note. Of course, he notices everything about Nova. But as one of her bosses, his growing attraction to her is a line he won’t cross. However, that doesn’t mean he’ll let her run straight into danger—and a quick hack of her computer proves she’s gotten in over her head. Gage is coming along for the ride, whether the sassy assistant likes it or not. He’ll do whatever’s necessary to save her friend…and keep Nova out of the clutches of a lethal enemy who won’t hesitate to kill anyone who gets in their way.

I love this series!! Nova and Gage have been circling each other since Skye hired Nova. When she tries to go off on her own Gage was not about to let that happen. They are so good together. Nova can take care of herself however Gage always has her back. This is a story full of action and adventure. Another great story from Katie Reus.

HUNTING. DANGER by Katie Reus A cryptic text from Layla , with code words, they chose when in the foster care program together, meant trouble. Then adding how Nova enjoyed Spa time, was a big elert. The chain of calls she made to use the jet for personal use, alerted the others on the team, even when she said nothing, What Layla saw her fiancée do, and sending a text and plan a get away, then she would be free. Gage is going with Nova, he saw her begining search, and no way was she going in alone. The guy her friend was with was on the DEA radar, bad news for anyone who knew him. Their pilot was shot, even with Gage now flying, crash landing was only option, someone had messed with the plane. If things weren’t so dangerous for them, maybe their feeling for each other would become known. The plot is great, you read the note, and you want answers. The characters of Layla and Gage.you will love, hopefully this trip they will get out alive, and be a couple. It is action packed, easy to read, and as always awaiting the next one. Nova gets a secretive emergency message from her former foster sibling and best friend. When Nova takes off mysteriously to go to Layla, Gage knows something isn't quite right. Being the great hacker that he is, it isn't hard for him to butt right into her rescue mission to keep both women safe. I've been anxiously waiting for Gage and Nova's story. The author has done a good job of teasing us through out the previous books with their little dance of attraction. I knew it was going to have to be something big to get Gage to take the leap since he was holding back due to being one of her bosses. I think surviving a crash could qualify as something big. For being on the shorter word count, this book packed a pretty big punch. It's pretty easy to get swept up into the action and Gage and Nova's continued dance. I found it endearing that Gage not only hesitated due to being one of her bosses, but also because he thought she was out of his league. It's not easy to pull off an alpha hero with some insecurities but it worked. Gage was a possessive alpha but also cute with his affection for Nova. I think I like that combination.
