5By M.o.m.1962At first glance the series, like the Port Danby series, seems too simple to be interesting. But the author has a gift for creating likable and engaging characters in her curious lady detectives. The stories are simple and easy to figure out yet sweetly engaging and hard to put down. Ms. Lovett has me hooked and I am eagerly awaiting the next installment of both Firefly Junction and the Port Danby series.
