Wow, just wow!!!!!! That ending had me in tears for hours. This is Christina McDonald’s debut book and she really nailed it. I can’t wait for her next book to come out. This book is definitely in my top 10 reads for this year. This book was about a mother who would stop at nothing to learn the truth about what happened to her precious daughter, Olivia. Olivia fell off a bridge and is in very bad shape at the hospital. Was it an accident? Was she pushed? Who is responsible for her fall? I want to start off by saying that for a debut novel it was amazing. I can’t say enough good things about this book and author. The author did such a great job in writing it. I truly felt what all the characters were feeling. I was in an emotional roller coaster the whole entire book that I never wanted to get off from. By the end I couldn’t stop crying and felt each characters pain and loss. Also, I can’t get over that shocking ending. It is going to take some time and therapy to heal from that big of a whopper. I couldn’t believe what happened to poor Olivia. Olivia wasn’t innocent in any of this either but didn’t deserve what she got. But that is how teenagers are. They make poor choices and sometime those bad choices have deadly consequences. Between the plot, characters and all the twists in this book it made it an easy and fast read. I would definitely recommend it and happily give it 5 Hearts❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I have come to the conclusion that I’m an adult and don’t enjoy reading about teenage romance. It wasn’t horrible but I didn’t love it like I had hoped I would

What a page turner! Every chapter was a cliffhanger in and of itself. The ending was beautifully written and shed a few ugly tears if I’m being honest. Can’t wait for her next one in 2020!

Olivia’s mom, Abi, gets a call in the early morning hours that her daughter is in the hospital. She finds out her daughter is brain dead but the doctors need to keep her on life support to protect the baby. Abi is shocked to find out Olivia is pregnant. She starts on a mission to find out what happened to her daughter that is heart wrenching. The story is told in alternating chapters from Olivia’s viewpoint leading up to the fall and Abi’s viewpoint after the fall. I loved this style of writing. I read this book in 2 days because I could not put it down. I would highly recommend this book!
